Ian qualified as a Podiatrist in 2003 and has since obtained a PGCert in Sports Podiatry and MSc in Sports Injury. He has been awarded Fellowships in Podiatric Medicine by both the College of Podiatry and also the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons (Glasgow). He is a private practitioner (Sports Podiatry Info Ltd) and Visiting lecturer at Centre for Sports & Exercise Medicine, Queen Mary University of London. He has provided sports podiatry services to PGA European Tour, RFU England Rugby 7’s, Surrey County Cricket Club and several Premier League football clubs. He continues to have an active interest and role in research.
